green communications for the Climate Change Conference

Ascom Wireless Solutions has recently deployed a wireless communications solution for the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.The solution ensures that security guards and service people have access to reliable critical communications during the conference wherever they are located in the enormous conference facilities.

The Bella Centre (http://www.bellacenter.dk/English/Live) IP enabled the existing DECT wireless system and as a result leveraged all the existing cable and basestation infrastructure while adding flexibility and the increased potential of a SIP enabled solution.

In addition the Ascom IP-DECT based communication system uses significantly less power and enables the conference centre to reduce its CO2 emissions.
